PM Sargsyan Ignores Reporters' Questions at Artik Ceremony

A cultural center in the Armenian town of Artik, housing many art works of the late Armenian artist Varaz Samuelian, officially opened today. Prime Minister Tigran Sargsyan was on hand with other dignitaries and hundreds of local residents to celebrate the opening of the two story center built from pink Artik tufa stone. According to Varaz Samualian’s will, a permanent exhibition of his 41 paintings and one sculpture will be housed at the center. Financing for the center was underwritten by the All Armenia Fund. Prime Minister Sargsyan brushed aside questions posed by reporters from the local Gala TV station regarding lingering construction problems at the Moush #2 neighborhood. He said that today was a day of joint celebration with the people of Artik and that he had nothing to say on other matters.
