Hetq has learnt that Lousabek Samvelyan, the former assistant to the president of the Norashen 2007 consumer cooperative who has been charged with defrauding clients out of money paid for the purchase of apartments, will give testimony in a Yerevan court tomorrow.

Samvelyan and Norashen 2007 former president Armen Tedevosyan are charged with swindling apartment buyers out of millions of AMD. There are four other defendants in the criminal case launched in 2012.

Judge Marineh Melkonyan (photo) will be presiding at the Ajapnyak and Davtashen District Court.

Also implicated in the case are Hermine Naghdalyan, Vice Speaker of the National Assembly, her husband, and a number of former and current MPs.
