Minutes ago, Armenia’s Constitutional Court announced that it regards certain aspects of the mandatory pension system launched in January as unconstitutional.

MPs representing non-coalition parties had filed a suit with the Court arguing that several clauses of the pension law were unconstitutional.

The Court has granted the National Assembly until September 30 to make all necessary changes to the pension law in order that it is declared constitutional.
