Arguing that a recent decision by Armenia’s Constitutional Court has resulted in more, rather than less, confusion regarding the mandatory pension system, the grassroots “Dem Em” movement has called for a public rally on April 12 at 2pm in the vicinity of the Matenadaran in Yerevan.

The Court recently announced that several aspects of the system are unconstitutional, giving the government until September to correct the problematic clauses.

The “Dem Em” statement says that public input is needed to evaluate the Court’s decision and to draft a future plan of action.
