Armenian President Serzh Sargsyan today welcomed a U.S. congressional delegation led by Representative Ed Royce, Chairman of the House Foreign Affairs Committee.

The delegation consists of Representatives Elliot Engel, Lois Frankel and David Cicilline.

President Sargsyan said the visit by the congressmen on the occasion of the 99th anniversary of the Armenian Genocide was of great importance and proved that the Armenian people had friends all over the world.

The two sides also discussed the priorities of Armenia’s foreign policy and regional issues.
