The Artsakh government has handed over the corpse of H. Hasanov, an Azerbaijani citizen who was killed after infiltrating the border in the Karvatchar region on July 10, 2014, to Azerbaijani authorities.

The handover was facilitated by the International Red Cross Office in Stepanakert.

At the time, Artsakh authorities said they would only return the corpse of the dead man after his identity had been discovered.

After news on the incident spread, Armenian government sources said there were three men in the Azerbaijani unit.

Two were eventually captured by Armenian military forces and the third, Hasanov, was killed.
