"Invest in Armenia and Make Money", Armenian PM Guarantees Washington DC Community Reps
While in Washington D.C. to attend the annual meetings of the World Bank and the IMF, Armenian Prime Minister Hovik Abrahamyan told a group of American-Armenian organizational representatives that Yerevan views greater cooperation with the community as a strategic objective, especially regarding investment in Armenia.
Abrahamyan told the group that his government was extending a hand of cooperation to the community and was putting into place a number of measures designed to facilitate the possibility of profitable investment in Armenia.
The prime minister said his government guarantees such success but didn’t go into details.
Abrahamyan added that his government was doing its “utmost” to alleviate the problems now faced by Armenians in Syria and Iraq.
Turning to the issue of genocide recognition, Abrahamyan stressed that the Armenian government was taking all possible measures to see that justice is done and that the 1915 Genocide is recognized by more world nations.
“I think we must respect the memory of our forefathers not only by taking this struggle to its conclusion, but by strengthening our homeland, by each Armenian putting their talents and potential to the service of the homeland. A stronger Armenia will bring us closer to the victory of obtaining justice,” said the prime minister.
