Azerbaijan Video of Helicopter Downing Backfires on Baku

The video below, showing the downing of an Armenian helicopter yesterday in Artsakh, has been circulated by Azerbaijan.

It clearly shows that the downed Mi-24 helicopter, one of two on a training mission, was flying quite far from Azerbaijani frontline positions when it was fired upon.

Prior to this video, Baku had disseminated video footage, purportedly portraying the downing of the helicopter, which had been actually lifted from media reports of the Ukraine conflict.

RA Ministry of Defense spokesman Artzroun Hovhannisyan has stated that this latest video, taken by Azerbaijan itself, has backfired on Baku since it clearly proves that the Armenian helicopters hadn’t crossed the border and hadn’t attacked Azerbaijani positions.

The best answer to this criminal actions of Azerbaijani fascist regime would be the opening of the air port in Stepanakert at any cost! Even by watching of the selective parts of this criminal action , there is clear shown in the Azerbaijani propaganda video that criminal officials in Baku have planed and ordered to make a propaganda video by purposely downing the helicopter There should be no doubt that the order has given by Azerbaijani president himself -

We should be ashamed of ourselves for leaving our soldiers there. By default we've assumed their dead. Why? Even if they are dead we need those bodies recovered. Our two choices our diplomatic and military. It's been 3 days the diplomatic angle hasn't worked and we haven't been able to get the bodies. Militarily we aren't powerful enough to attack since we are afraid of escalating the problem. Who should we blame? Ourselves for failing in both Militarily and Diplomatically. We need to shake up the Armenian leadership and the Armenian populace. We should strive for higher standards then what is displayed in this event. Enough blaming the azeri and turks, they will always be our enemy, we need to be smart and strong enough to deal with them.

To mek: Instead of calling dav an armchair general, see if s/he makes sense. And s/he DOES MAKE PERFECT SENSE. Where is your meaningful input? Have you put your trust the corrupt echelons of your leaders? Look outside your window. The world is bigger than what you are able to imagine.

Leaving the bodies of three Armenian heroes for three days now is a disgrace for our Army. Maybe one soldiers was alive. Whatever fire was coming from Azeries, our army had to go in and rescue them, instead of foolishly asking the Red Cross for help. The real army does not leave soldiers behind, alive or dead.
