A holiday drive to collect chocolates and other sweets for children in Armenia’s border villages has been launched with assistance from the Fund for Armenian Relief Fund (FAR).

Aptly called “Chocolate Bank for Border Village Kids”, the candy drive will continue until December 23.

The collected goodies will then be distributed to children living in Armenian villages in the Tavoush Province bordering Azerbaijan.

Chocolate Bank organizers say they want to bring a bit of the New Year’s spirit to children in these villages.

Donations can be brought to the FAR office at 22 Khorenatsi Street (near the entrance to English Park) in Yerevan.
