Armenia’s Pre-Parliament opposition political organization says that police detained and beat one of its supporters at a rally today in Yerevan.

The group reports that cops detained Gevorg Safaryan and then beat him in a police car.

Safaryan is now said to be at Yerevan’s Kentron police station and that a representative of Armenia’s Human Rights Defender has gone to visit him.
