Founding Parliament Calls for Establishment of National Liberation Movement in Armenia

Arguing that the current intensification of the domestic situation in Armenia proves that the regime is incapable of dealing with the systemic crisis and is attempting to complete the monopolization of authority and the economy by establishing political authoritariasm and a “one oligarch economy”, the Founding Parliament (formerly the Pre-Parliament) has called for the immediate creation of a national liberation front.

The Founding Parliament, in its communiqué, goes on to say that the forces who have become the target of the regime are equally incapable of thinking and working towards overcoming the crisis and are similarly inclined to hand over the natural and human resources of Artsakh and Armenia to foreigners in exchange for assuming the role of a colonial regime and getting a portion of the pie.

Nevertheless, the Founding Parliament says it condemns the unconstitutional and illegal measures now being taken by the regime against its political opponents and civilians at large.
