Decorated Artsakh Vets Hand Over Medals to Sefilyan

Two celebrated Artsakh war veterans, protesting the actions of the Artsakh police and other law enforcement bodies that occurred on January 31 in Berdzor, have renounced the military honors issued them and have handed them over to Jirayr Sefilyan, according to the Pre-Parliament organization.

Pavel Manukyan (Aparantsi Pavlik) and Armen Lambaryan say they can no longer keep the honors given that they have been discredited due to the criminal actions taken against Jirayr Sefilyan, commander of the Shoushi Special Unit who led the “100th Anniversary Without the Regime” convoy to Artsakh, his military comrades, and supporters, including women and children.

The two have called on other decorated Artsakh War vets to also turn in their medals.
