Foreign Minister of Armenia met the President of Slovenia

On March 10, Foreign Minister Edward Nalbandian was received by the President of Slovenia Borut Pahor.

Welcoming the Foreign Minister of Armenia, the President of Slovenia stressed, that the relations between Armenia and Slovenia are on a high level and his state is willing to continue the multi-dimensional cooperation.

Expressing gratitude for the reception, Minister Nalbandian mentioned, that the aim of his visit is to discuss joint steps towards deepening of cooperation with Slovenia.

During the meeting, activation of political dialogue, ways to deepen trade and economic cooperation, organization of business-forums, expansion of legal framework, possibilities of deepening cooperation in the fields of culture, science and education were touched upon.

Thoughts were exchanged over regional issues and possibilities to solve them. In this context Minister Nalbandian presented the efforts exerted by Armenia and the international community towards peaceful settlement of the Nagorno-Karabakh issue. President of Slovenia reaffirmed support to resolve the Nagorno-Karabakh issue within the OSCE Minsk Group Co-Chairmanship and on the basis of their proposals.

The President of Slovenia requested to convey his greetings and well wishes to the President of Armenia Serzh Sargsyan.
