On behalf of the Armenian government, Foreign Minister Edward Nalbandyan has welcomed the framework for an agreement regarding Iran’s nuclear program recently reached in Lausanne, Switzerland.

In a communiqué, Nalbandyan said the agreed upon framework would pave the way for a comprehensive settlement of the issue and that it would assist in establishing regional security and cooperation.

The process, Nalbandyan said, proves that even the most complex issues can be resolved through negotiations.
