Armenia’s Ministry of Defense today announced that it would be creating a cyber-security center called Hye Tek tasked with raising the level of security of the country’s defense system.
The ministry also announced that it is forming a special committee including representatives of IT companies (Synopsis, Unicomp, T&S Dynamics, and others) that will test the theoretical and practical computer programming skills of new army recruits for placement in special assignments.
The ministry says the Hye Tek center will be operational by the end of 2015.
