The Armenian government, at a cabinet session today, approved the allocation of 4.4 billion AMD (US$9.254) to solve the most pressing problems facing the provinces of the country.

The government’s press release notes that the funds will go towards the construction/renovation of schools, potable and irrigation water systems, and to other sectors.

Prime Minister Hovik Abrahamyan said that the allocation of the funds, given the scarcity of the country’s resources, was an important step to solve issues faced by the provinces.
