Armenia’s newly appointed ambassador to India, Armen Martirosyan, presented his diplomatic credentials to Indian President Pranab Mukherjee yesterday.

After the ceremony, President Mukherjee told Ambassador Martirosyan that India wanted to deepen its ties with Armenia and that collaboration in the cultural, political and economic spheres was in the long-term interests of both countries.
