
Two Earthquakes Hit Azerbaijan; Tremors Felt in Yerevan
An earthquake measuring 7 points on Richter scale hit the Sheki district of Azerbaijan today at 09:49:36 local time (UTC/GMT +5 hours).
The quake was also felt in several towns of Armenia, notably in Aygedzor, Noyemberyan and Ijevan.
Yerevan, the capital of Armenia, also felt the quake’s tremors but no damage or casualties have been reported.
A second earthquake is reported to have hit the Oghuz district of Azerbaijan later on at 14:39 local time (UTC/GMT +5 hours) today.
