Yesterday, Armenia’s newly appointed Minister of Justice Arpineh Hovhannisyan met with Mikhail Lobov, who heads the Council of Europes’ Human Rights Policy and Development Department.

The two discussed a Council of Europe program called Human Rights’ Education for Professionals in the Legal Sector now being taught at Armenia’s Academy of Justice.

Lobov and Hovhannisyan also discussed the implementation of new joint programs, in particular, the possibility of conducting lessons in Armenia for those working in the correctional services sector.
