Armenian President Serzh Sargsyan today hosted Iran’s Ambassador to Armenia Mohammad Raiesi who is winding up his diplomatic mission to Armenia.

President Sargsyan thanked the ambassador for his efforts over the past three years in strengthening relations between Yerevan and Tehran and wished him well in his future endeavors.

Sargsyan stressed that relations with Iran are of vital significance to Armenia and are based on mutual economic interests and historical/cultural similarities.
