Armenian President Serzh Sargsyan today hosted Sergey Kiriyenko, the head of Russia’s state nuclear energy corporation Rosatom.

According to Sargsyan’s presidential website, the two stated that the level of mutual cooperation in the energy sector was quite good

Today, in Yerevan, the first meeting between Armenia’s Minister of Energy and Natural Resources and Rosatom’s Joint Coordinating Committee took place.

The subject of the meeting was an extension of the operating limit for the No. 2 power plant at the Armenian Nuclear Power Plant (Metzamor).
