Armenian President Serzh Sargsyan today met with Adolf Berghoffer who serves as president of Armenia’s Presidential Council for Nuclear Energy Safety.

Berghoffer, Director of the German Nuclear Safety Institute, is visiting Armenia to attend the 14th session of the Council.

The two discussed construction work implemented by "HAEK-i Shinararutyun" CJSC to raise the level of safety at the Armenian Nuclear Power Plant (ANPP) and measures to extend the operational deadline for Armenia’s nuclear power plant at Metzamor.
