Bus Accident in Russia Kills Eight Citizens of Armenia; Dozens Hospitalized

A bus carrying passengers from Moscow to Yerevan lost control yesterday and flipped over near the town of Uzlovya, in the Russian Tula Oblast, killing eight and injuring 43 citizens of Armenia.

The cause of the deadly accident, as reported by Armenia’s Territorial Administration and Emergency Situations Ministry, is as yet unknown.

33 of the 43 injured passengers have been hospitalized.

Those killed have yet to be identified.

Update: Russia's Ministry of Health reports that five of the eight fatalities died on the spot, one in an ambulance on the way to hospital, and two at the Uzlovya Regional Hospital's resuscitation unit.
