A panel discussion entitled “Combating Discriminatory Discourse: Teoretical Discussions & European Experience Regarding Hate Speech Laws” will take place on Tuesday, November 10, at Istanbul’s Bilgi University (central campus) at 5pm.

Speakers include Prof. Michał Krzyżanowski (Full Professor and Chair in Media and Communication Studies at Örebro University, Sweden) and Marloes van Noorloos (Assistant Professor of Criminal Law at the Department of Criminal Law of Tilburg Law School).

The panel moderator will be Prof. Dr. Turgut Tarhanlı (Professor of Public International Law and Human Rights Law and the Director of the BİLGİ Human Rights Law Research Center)
