
President Sargsyan Signs Law Allowing Identity Card Holders to Vote
Armenian President Serzh Sargsyan today signed a bill, passed by the parliament, which makes changes and amendments to the country’s electoral code.
The new law allows citizens only holding an identity card to vote in the December 6 referendum on constitutional change. Prior to the law, only citizens holding a passport could vote.
