Ten rural communities in Armenia’s Shirak Province will hold local elections on December 6.

Mayoral elections will be held in Geghanis, Garnarith, Shirak, Pezashen, Basen, Toufashen, and Vahramaberd.

Municipal council elections will be held in Anoushavan and Arevik.

The village of Nahapetavan will hold elections for mayor and municipal council.

December 6 is also the date when a referendum will be held to make changes to Armenia’s constitution.
