Arstakh’s Ministry of Defense reports that two of its soldiers were killed last night while repulsing a multi-pronged Azerbaijani incursion across the Line of Contact into Artsakh territory.

The two soldiers have been identified as Aghasi Grigoryan (born 1996) and Rouben Aleksanyan (born 1996).

The ministry reports that on December 17, at 9:30, contract soldier Gor Ohanyan died after receiving a fatal injury while on guard duty at an Artsakh Defense Army post in the north of the country.

The circumstances of the incident are being investigated.

The ministry says the response of Artsakh forces will be “painful and replete with irrevocable losses” for Azerbaijan.
