$35.2 Million in Additional Tax to Be Levied, Says Inspectorate Head
Samvel Isakahakyan, who heads the Financial-Budgetary Oversight Inspectorate at Armenia’s Ministry of Finance, reported today that as a result of tax audits conducted this year, some 17 billion AMD (US$35.2 million) in additional tax liabilities are to be levied for inclusion in the national budget.
Isahakyan said that some 10 million AMD has already been collected by the national government.
In 2014, 3.4 billion AMD was levied in additional tax due to inspections and audits.
