Armenian PM Talks Energy with Georgian Deputy PM

Armenian Prime Minister Hovik Abrahamyan today in Yerevan hosted Kakha Kalazde, the Deputy Prime Minister of Georgia and its Minister of Economics.

Today and tomorrow, in Yerevan, there will be a joint session of the economics ministries of Armenia, Georgia, Iran and Russia.

At today’s session, the participants discussed issues related to strengthening bilateral and multilateral energy cooperation.

Prime Minister singled out the construction of the Armenia-Georgia 400 kV power transmission line as proof of the benefits of cooperation in the energy sector.
