Tigran Sargsyan Replaced as Armenia’s Ambassador to U.S.

Tigran Sargsyan has been replaced as Armenia’s Ambassador to the United States by Grigor Hovhannisyan.

In December 2015, Sargsyan was appointed chairman of the Eurasian Economic Commission.

Hovhannisyan had been serving as Armenia’s ambassador to Mexico, Cuba, Costa Rica, Guatemala and Panama.
