The presidents of Armenia and Iran had a telephone conversation today during which the two spoke about the current state of friendly relations between Yerevan and Tehran and discussed ways to deepen such ties.

Armenian President Serzh Sargsyan and Iranian President Hassan Rouhani also discussed recent agreements reached regarding Iran’s nuclear program.

A schedule of future meetings was also agreed upon.
