As per yesterday’s signing of a ‘political cooperation’ agreement between the ruling Republican Party and the ARF, Armen Ashotyan has been relieved of his duties as minister of education and science and has been replaced by ARF Bureau member Levon Mkrtchyan.

Mkrtchyan served as Armenia’s education minister from 1998-1999, 2001-2003 and 2006-2008.
