The Artsakh Ministry of Defense has described an Azerbaijani claim that its forces fire upon peaceful civilians and even regard “flocks of sheep” as a threat as ludicrous and just more disinformation emanating from Baku.

To clarify the “sheep matter”, the ministry has issued a statement arguing that the Azerbaijani military often compares its soldiers to sheep and that there are audio recordings in the internet to this effect.

The ministry says that it only has respect for the peaceful populace of Azerbaijan which has been forced to bear the brunt of the Aliyev regime for the past twenty years.
