The Artsakh Ministry of Defense reports that despite recent agreements reached by the parties involved not to destabilize the situation along the Line of Contact, Azerbaijan did just that by firing more than 2,400 small arms rounds over the weekend.

“True to form, Azerbaijan, attempting to couch its destructive actions, has rushed to blame Armenia for the spike in tensions. The Artsakh Ministry of Defense reaffirms that it will assume its obligations, while at the same time remaining prepared to prevent any instigation by the opponent,” reads the ministry’s communique.
