Armenian PM Abrahamyan Telephones Medvedev: Russian to Visit Armenia

Armenian Prime Minister Hovik Abrahamyan today telephoned Russian Prime Minister Dmitry Medvedev to discuss plans for the Russian government leader’s scheduled visit to Armenia to participate in the April 8 session of the Eurasia Intergovernmental Council in Yerevan.

The Intergovernmental Council is a European Economic Union body consisting of the Heads of the Member-States Governments.

The EEU consists of Armenia, Belarus, Kazakhstan, the Kyrgyz Republic and the Russian Federation.

Tigran Sargsyan, a former prime minister of Armenia, serves as Chairman of the Board of the Eurasian Economic Commission, the permanent regulatory body of the Eurasian Economic Union (EEU).
