Artsakh Prime Minister Calls on Hadrout Farmers and Mayors to Ensure Normal Economic Activities

Artsakh Prime Minister Arayik Haroutyunyan yesterday met with local mayors and farmers in the town of Hadrout yesterday and discussed matters related to shoring up food reserves and spring planting against the backdrop of continued fighting along the Line of Contact.

Haroutyunyan called on those present to spare no effort, in collaboration with the government, to organize their efforts to maintain normal economic activities so that the capabilities of the Artsakh military do not suffer as a result.

“As you see, as a result of Azerbaijani aggression certain problems have arisen in the economic and agricultural sectors. Naturally, due to the actions of our army, we have been able to quickly stabilize the situation. However, we must now get to work to strengthen our rear positions and to organize the normal working of the economy,” Haroutyunyan noted at the meeting.
