The Mountainous Republic of Karabakh’s (MKR) Ministry of Foreign Affairs reports that the municipality of Donostia-San Sebastián, the capital city of the Gipuzkoa province of the Basque Autonomous Community in Spain, adopted the following resolution regarding Karabakh.

The municipality of Donostia-San Sebastián:

1. During this difficult time, it conveys its solidarity to Stepanakert, reaffirming the right of its citizens to a peaceful and normal way of life.
2. Call on all sides to return to the situation that existed prior to the violation of the ceasefire and that they not hinder the creation of a mechanism that will allow for the monitoring of the ceasefire regime.
3. Call on all sides to settle their disagreements within the scope of the Minsk Group, dialog and negotiations, will always respecting the will of the people.
4. In this light, it asks that Nagorno Karabakh has its own voice in the negotiations conducted by the Minsk Group
