Armenia Tops Central and Eastern Europe for 2016 Unlicensed Software Installaton

According to the 2016 BSA Global Software Survey, the rate of unlicensed software installation in Armenia for 2015 stood at 86% and amounted to some US$18 million.

This rate topped that of Azerbaijan and Georgia (84%) and Russia 64%.

Only Moldova tied with Armenia at the top of the list in the Central and Eastern Europe (CEE) group.

The average rate for the CEE is 58%

Scanning the worldwide rankings, Armenia tied with Bangladesh at 86%. Only Yemen (87%), Venezuela (88%), and Libya and Zimbabwe (90%) topped Armenia for unlicensed software installation.
