Staffers from Armenia’s Human Right Defender’s (HRD) Office have visited Jirayr Sefilyan, the opposition activist arrested yesterday on charges of illegal arms possession and for planning to seize various government buildings in Yerevan by force.

The HRD Office says it has also demanded that the agencies involved in the Sefilyan investigation provide it with certain clarifications.
