Sargsyan Meets U.S. Secretary of State Kerry in Warsaw; Discuss Karabakh Conflict Settlement
On July 8, Armenian President Serzh Sargsyan, on a working visit to Poland, met with U.S. Secretary of State John Kerry who was attending the NATO summit in Warsaw.
Sargsyan conveyed his condolences to Kerry regarding the recent shoot-out in Dallas.
The two then discussed issues related to the Karabakh conflict settlement. Sargsyan thanked Kerry for the role the U.S. is playing in bringing peace and stability to the region.
The Armenian president cited the recent meetings in Vienna and St. Petersburg as part of the process to decrease tensions along the Line of Contact.
