The armed group still holding a Yerevan police building it seized on Sunday, July 17, has had its water, food and medical services cut off for the past 34 hours, reports Founding Parliament member Alek Yenikomshian.

Yenikomshian, in a press interview, said that last night authorities cut telephone contact with the group holed up inside the police building in Yerevan’s Erebouni district.

The former ASALA member said that while the government talks about not inciting the situation, it takes steps to the contrary.

Yenikomshian said police last night attempted to approach the building and break down a wall and that a low flying police helicopter buzzed the building.
