Armenia’s National Security Service (NSS) says that in response to the recent inflammatory actions of the armed group holding a Yerevan police building, all necessary measures will be taken to safeguard the lives of law enforcement officials.

The NSS, is a statement released today, says that the Sasna Dzrer armed group has disregarded police calls not to incite further violence and that the events of last night, in which several police cars were set on fire and gunfire exchanged, are forcing law enforcement to take more drastic steps.
