Saying that all avenues to peacefully resolve the armed standoff at a Yerevan police building seized on July 17 by the Sasna Dzrer group, Armenia’s National Security Service (NSS) says it will give the group until 5 p.m. today to lay down its arms.

Otherwise, the NSS says special forces will be authorized to shoot any armed person within the building compound or outside without warning.
