
Visa Free Travel to Iran for Citizens of Armenia Starts Today
As of today, citizens of Armenia can travel across the border to Iran without a visa.
Iran’s Ambassador to Armenia Seyed Kazem Sajadi announced the start of visa-free travel during a meeting today in Yerevan hosted by Armenian Prime Minister Hovik Abrahamyan.
Ambassador Sajadi said that all Iranian border checkpoints have been appraised of the new policy, recently struck between Yerevan and Tehran, that allows for mutual visa-free travel for citizens of the two countries.
