A car carrying political cartoons that were on display in a Yerevan park yesterday was broken into and the cartoons stolen.

The car, belonging to Medialab.am website chief editor Mariann Grigoryan, who organized the “Not-Banned” exhibition at Mashtots Park.

Grigoryan said the cartoons had been left in the carparked near her house, and that whoever stole them had probably followed her home.

She called police who arrived on the scene.

When they asked her the amount of the loss, Grigoryan answered, “The loss is to the nation’s reputation.”
