Local elections are scheduled for September 18 in 317 communities throughout the provinces of Aragatzotn, Ararat, Armavir, Syunik and Tavoush in Armenia.

22 communities will only hold elections for the post of mayor, and 80 for municipal council seats. The other 215 will hold elections for both.

548 individuals have been registered for the mayoral elections. 2,825 individuals have been registered for municipal council elections.

The Republican Party of Armenia, the ARF, Prosperous Party of Armenia, and the Rule of Law Party will have representatives at all 541 polling precincts.
