
Armenian President to Kyrgyzstan for CIS Summit
Armenian President Serzh Sargsyan has left for Kyrgyzstan to attend a CIS Council of Heads of States meeting.
The CIS (Commonwealth of Independent States) is a regional organization formed during the breakup of the Soviet Union, whose participating countries are some former Soviet Republics — Armenia, Azerbaijan, Belarus, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Moldova, Russia, Tajikistan and Uzbekistan.
