Armenia’s State Revenue Committee (SRC) says its inspectors thwarted an attempt to smuggle Georgian and Turkish tomatoes into Armenia at the Bagratashen border crossing.

The SRC says that customs officials unearthed 1.5 tons of tomatoes hidden in special trailer truck compartments.
