On September 27, during his ongoing working visit to Belgium, Artsakh Minister of Foreign Affairs Karen Mirzoyan met with Eleni Theocharous, President of the European Parliament’s EU-Armenia Friendship Group.  

The two are said to have discussed relations between Artsakh and Europe and issues related to the Karabakh conflict settlement and regional matters.

That same day, Mirzoyan met with MEP Frank Engel, head of the EU-Artsakh Friendship Group.

The two stressed the need to strengthen Artsakh ties to various European structures, including the European Parliament.

Mirzoyan was also the main speaker at a roundtable discussion entitled “NKR-25 Years of Nation Building in an Unstable Region” organized by MEP Engel.
