NKR National Assembly President Ashot Ghulyan today hosted Baroness Caroline Cox and members of HART (Humanitarian Aid Relief Trust) in Stepanakert.

Ghulyan noted that this visit, on the occasion of the 25th anniversary of Artsakh’s independence, was the 85th visit by Baroness Cox.

“Artsakh is becoming know through your efforts since you always bring a new group of friends. This is important because Azerbaijan is constantly trying to disseminate false information regarding our country,” Ghulyan said.

According to the parliament’s press office Baroness Cox said that every time she comes to Artsakh she sees progress.

The sides discussed ways to strengthen parliamentary ties, the defense of human rights, the collection of documentation regarding the April hostilities, and other charity-related issues.
